Our Purpose

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose, as a dynamic church sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, is to attract and lead the unsaved to Jesus Christ through fellowship with each other and unbelievers while modeling the love of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14 (TLB)

14 But thanks be to God! For through what Christ has done, he has triumphed over us so that now wherever we go he uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Gospel like a sweet perfume.

Encourage all believers to consecrate themselves to God’s purpose in their lives through relationship with God and other believers.

Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Equip believers for effective ministry to reach the Georgetown area and beyond through discipleship through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Cultivate servant hearts for the purposes of the Kingdom of Heaven through Lordship of God the Father.

1 Corinthians 8:6 (TLB)

6 But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created all things and made us to be his own; and one Lord Jesus Christ, who made everything and gives us life.

Our Beliefs

"Then he saved us—not because we were good enough to be saved but because of his kindness and pity—by washing away our sins and giving us the new joy of the indwelling Holy Spirit." Titus 3:5

Our Beliefs

"Then he saved us—not because we were good enough to be saved but because of his kindness and pity—by washing away our sins and giving us the new joy of the indwelling Holy Spirit." Titus 3:5

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that salvation comes to us through Jesus Christ's death on the cross. Because of that sacrificial act of love, we now have forgiveness through the gift of Grace. Grace is given to all who call on the name of Jesus, believe in Him as the Son of God, and turn from sin and pursue the teachings of Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 (AMP)

8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

We acknowledge God's presence in our lives through the Holy Spirit and are dependent upon Him to guide us in all things. We accept life’s challenges with faith and look for God's direction in everyday life. We encourage growth toward wholeness in Spirit, Soul and Body. We believe that life is not only about arriving at a destination but being on the journey.

Titus 3:5 (TLB)

5 then he saved us—not because we were good enough to be saved but because of his kindness and pity—by washing away our sins and giving us the new joy of the indwelling Holy Spirit,

  • We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • We sing with all our hearts and lift our hands in praise, and clap and shout unto to Lord.

  • We play musical instruments to enhance our Praise and Worship to the Lord.

  • We pray for those in need and anoint with oil.

  • We preach and believe the Word is alive working in our lives and the Spiritual gifts are for the church today, to help us be overcomers of this world, while being transformed to the image of Christ.

  • We are made new and alive in Jesus Christ through the gift of Grace.

  • We welcome the Holy Spirit to lead us in a fuller understanding and relationship with God the Father during each service.
